Are  you praying for Israel? There has never been a time in recent history when Israel needs prayer more than now. The enemy of our souls may try to tell you that your prayers do not matter, that you are just an ordinary person and that you do not know how to pray or that you are ignorant about Israel or that one more prayer from an average believer will not matter.  Lies lies lies!

God hears every prayer and believers are commanded to pray for Israel. See Psalm 126, especially verse 6 through 9.

 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure.
⁷ May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.”
⁸ For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.”⁹ For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your prosperity.

Another verse to imprint on your heart is Genesis 12:3: I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth   will be blessed through you.”

Watch what you are watching. I urge you not to watch mainstream media or social media. The enemy seeks to plant fear as well as to discord. We need to be informed but we do not need to be terrorized by images of what the terrorists did. Stay in peace. Fear never comes from God. 

However, do listen to conservative, Christian media outlets. The best I know of is Victory News and Flashpoint. The Jerusalem Prayer Team is another excellent source of God’s truth about what is happening in Israel.
